NEXT EVENT - THE STARFEST MUSIC WEEKEND, 23rd - 24th NOVEMBER
Welcome to The Star Roby Mill restaurant website. Here we try to share our vision about food quality, our mission about customer’s satisfaction and introducing services that we provide for each one of you.
Sally's Restaurant
I reopened The Star Inn in 2007 as Landlord/Chef with our Sally’s themed restaurant, that was dedicated to my mother Sally.
Sally who among other things was a great cook, sadly she passed at a very young age in 1996.
After spending many years at Wigan Athletic and Wigan Warriors I’m now back to honour a promise made by myself that I would name a restaurant after her as this was a lifetime dream of hers and mine. Alongside my partner Laura and daughter Pippa-Bleu, Sally’s at The Star Inn has returned for good. Only this time bigger and better!
All our hardworking Chefs and dedicated front of house staff welcome you and hope you enjoy the Sally’s experience.

We had my child's First Holy Communion celebration meal here in June. Service and food were top notch. A lovely time enjoyed by everybody. I can really recommend the private space.
I always look forward to visiting this beautiful Inn when I'm home visiting family. The food is always superb, and the staff go out of there way to make sure everything is perfect. Thank you so much, and all the best in the New Year.
Just celebrated husband's birthday there with a large family group - absolutely lovely food and service - great front of house staff - a really warm welcome. Live entertainment too was a real bonus!
